The Final Leg: From Hereford Station, we are a straightforward 20-minute local taxi ride into the country.

Frequently Asked Questions for Bristol Visitors
Can I travel back to Bristol on the train with my finished knife or tool?
Yes, absolutely. At the end of your course, your hand-forged item is safely cooled, oiled, polished, and securely packaged in protective wrapping. It complies fully with UK transit requirements when kept packaged and stowed safely inside your main travel luggage or car boot for your journey home.
Is it easy to come down for a single day trip from Bristol?
Yes. Our standard full-day experiences generally begin at 09:30 AM. If you take an early morning train from Paddington, you can arrive in time. However, the vast majority of our London guests prefer to travel down on a Friday evening, stay in one of our recommended local country inns, and arrive fresh for a weekend forge experience.
