We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties except where it is a necessary part of providing a service to you. Oldfield Forge Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under the Data Protection Act.
When you place an order with us, we will ask you for some details including full name, address, telephone number and email address. You can at this point opt-out of receiving any marketing communications from us. If you do choose to receive further communications and then change your mind at a later date, please email [email protected] and request to be cancelled from our mailing list.
We will never rent or sell your personal information to any third party. We do not believe that making money from selling the information we collect as a result of serving our customers is in any way ethical. If you have given us your name, address, telephone number or email address as part of a sales or enquiry process we may on occasion send you a new catalogue or inform you of new products as they arise. This we will do via post or e-mail.
We will on occasion need to call you on the telephone number provided. This will only be in connection with a current order / enquiry, to keep you informed of delivery times or stock shortages.
Checking Your Details
If you wish to verify the details you have given to Oldfield Forge Ltd, you can do so by contacting us by email or telephone. Unless you are well known to us we will require proof of identity before we reveal information. This proof will usually take the form of your email address and details of the order you submitted.
