Your adventure begins at the drawing board, where you’ll sketch your own dagger before bringing your design to life in the forge. From the profile of the blade to the style of the hand guard and pommel, every detail is yours to decide. Whether you’re inspired by the weapons of medieval knights, Viking raiders or legendary fantasy blades, our expert blacksmiths will help transform your vision into a unique handcrafted piece.
Once your design is finalised, it’s time to fire up the forge. Working with glowing steel, you’ll heat, hammer and shape your dagger using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Guided every step of the way, you’ll watch your design emerge from raw steel, gaining hands-on experience as your creation takes shape beneath your hammer.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the day is the spectacular burn-through. Just like on our Sword Making experience, the red-hot tang is driven through the wooden handle to create the perfect fit in a dramatic burst of smoke, flames and sizzling timber. It’s loud, fiery and guaranteed to be one of the highlights of your experience, so make sure your camera is fully charged!
