Once you have left us with your steel, hand-forged in hot flame, you are just taking the next step in your journey. We always like to see how the pieces made by our customers end up. To promote this, we have some fun competitions for our community- take part on social media and show us what you’ve got!

Join us this spooky season to forge a knife or dagger and be in with a chance of winning a £50 voucher by following the details below.
We are inviting customers who join us to make a knife or dagger to carve your best funny, scary or themed pumpkin at home, take a photo of your creation with your finished knife or dagger & tag us on Instagram! It’s that simple!
Entries are valid when submitted by an attendee for our specific workshops (Knife Making, Dagger Making, Just For Fun) & attended during 2023, before November 1st 2023.
Competition closes November 5th at midday for all photo entries & tags.
All entries will be judged by our team, who will vote for their favorite. One winner will be picked and notified by email once the competition has closed and will receive the voucher in the form of an E-Voucher, valid for 18 months. The voucher can be redeemed against a direct workshop booking with us only (subject to availability). No refunds will be given or eligible for the £50 voucher. Best Dressed Knife
Knife making is our most popular package, we welcome chefs, campers and history enthusiasts from all over the world. We Love to see how your knives end up after you have left us, be it with a cool custom-made sheath, a fancy multi-wood handle, or even some unique engraving! So our second competition is “Best Dressed Knife”. This includes handle detail, scabbard/sheath and any other details added to the knife post your visit to us.

Most Badass Picture
We are running a competition for the remainder of this year for the “Most Badass Picture” featuring products our customers have made here at Oldfield! If you’ve come and made something with us and you’ve taken some epic pictures either here at the forge or out in the wild after your time here!
- Bonus points for pictures taken in the wild and for creativity!
- Backstory/epic quest line optional.
