The experience at Oldfield Forge was fantastic! The first thing I did was designed the axe I would be forging, the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helped me choose an axe design and gave me complete creative license. Aaron one of the blacksmiths was always available for advice and the technical aspects. It was an incredible day, and one I will be doing again, I want a new kitchen knife! I believe everyone will love the experience of creating their own axe.
I made a rose and my husband made a dragonfly. We were under the watchful eye and guidance of Luke who was great, as were the rest of the team! Brilliant experience, hard work but so worth it! We are really pleased with our handiwork and had such fun making them! Highly recommend
Friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic staff who brilliantly guided us through the process of making our wedding rings. Hard work at times, but excellent fun. You can make daggers, swords, kitchen knives, axes, and other stuff too. Can't recommend the place enough.
