Blacksmith Experience Days

Neither of us had ever done anything like this before and yet we have come away with beautiful matching rings which are all the more special because we made them for each other. Your staff are excellent teachers, blending humor and patience with just the right level of support and tuition to enable us to develop new skills and gain so much satisfaction from the different processes. We enjoyed this so much we are sending you our daughter and son-in-law to make a sword in the summer. Thank you again, especially Joe and Ben for making this such a memorable experience.

Great experience day that I'd highly recommend and with something cool to take home at the end of the day. The staff were fantastic and made for a really enjoyable day.

I came here for the dagger making for two experience for my birthday and had a fantastic time. Gordon looked after us for the day and he was hilarious, made sure we were safe, and fixed our dagger any time we messed up (which was fairly often). We were complete novices and we couldn't have had more fun! The whole team were friendly and brilliant - we're extremely happy with our very wonky dagger 

We managed to forge our own axe head, shape and sharpen it and fit it to a handle under expert guidance. We really enjoyed the day and now have a functional and unique tool with a nice story attached to it to use for years to come. Thanks very much, Oldfield Forge!
