AND TARGETING
Step into the forge and create your very own slingshot before putting your skills and aim to the test at our slingshot range.
During this unique experience, you’ll learn the basic techniques of blacksmithing and create your own slingshot with guidance from your experienced blacksmith. Once your slingshot is complete, it’s time to head outside and see how accurate you really are!
Your blacksmith will support you throughout the session, offering guidance, tips and encouragement as you develop your skills. You can then enjoy lunch in our café or woodland area before heading to the slingshot range for the next part of your adventure.
At the range, you’ll begin with easier targets and gradually work your way up to more challenging ones as your confidence and accuracy improve. Keep score, challenge your friends and family, and see who can hit the most targets and claim the ultimate bragging rights!
Children aged 14 and over can take part, making this a fantastic experience for families, friends, groups and anyone looking for something a little different.

Experience Details
This is a three-hour blacksmithing experience followed by up to one hour of slingshot activity, or until you have used the supplied ammunition.
Your session will begin with an introduction to blacksmithing, where your blacksmith will guide you through the basic techniques needed to create your slingshot.
Once your slingshot is complete, you’ll head to our slingshot range, where you’ll receive a full safety briefing and guidance on how to use your slingshot safely.
You’ll have the opportunity to practise your technique before taking on a selection of targets. Start with the easier challenges and gradually work your way up as your confidence and accuracy improve.
Your blacksmith will be on hand throughout the session to offer advice, encouragement and tips to help you improve your aim.
As the challenges get harder, the competition can really begin! Can you hit the trickier targets? Can you beat your friends’ scores? And, most importantly, who will be crowned the slingshot champion?
