Blacksmithing is not as easy as it looks, so we have put together a list of pieces that we know can be designed and made within the ‘experience day’ time frames.

For those taking part in our ‘Just For Fun’ or ‘Couples’ experience packages, we have lots of ideas for you to choose from.
There is also scope for variation within the Knifemaking courses. Any variation in knife design will be discussed with one of our blacksmiths on-site before starting the course.

HAMMER MAKING
There’s something very satisfying and empowering about making your own hammer that you can use every day. This experience is very “hands-on” and you’ll be made to sweat as you design and forge your own hammerhead.
SWORD MAKING FOR TWO
Whether you are fulfilling a bucket list dream to share with your partner/friend or spoiling your children rotten with this two-day experience package, our expert blacksmiths will guide and support you in crafting your own bespoke sword. You can even engrave your family crest or initials to commemorate the special occasion.
JUST FOR FUN FORGING – 5 HOURS
This is an exciting chance to learn and practice a number of blacksmithing techniques over 5 hours of fun.
This is the perfect induction to blacksmithing for all ages, hand forging something practical or decorative to show off to your friends!
