A Traditional, Family-Run Forge
in the Heart of the Herefordshire Countryside
Oldfield Forge is a traditional family-run blacksmithing business set in the very heart of rural Herefordshire. It was founded by the two of us, a husband and wife team, Aaron and Nicky Heath.
Aaron is the head blacksmith whilst Nicky is the business manager. We have four young children who can often be found helping out or playing in the woodlands.
We have built a strong and highly respected team of specialist blacksmiths with dual expertise – both producing the finest ironmongery with outstanding design and craftsmanship and also sharing their passion with visitors on our unique and hands-on Experience Days.
We are dedicated to preserving the ancient traditions of the craft but with an eye to creating contemporary as well as traditional pieces. From chandeliers to wrought iron gates and more than occasionally creative pieces which are works of art in their own right. A selection of our practical and artistic ironwork is displayed in our showroom in Herefordshire, and we welcome visitors to view the collection.
Our Experience Day packages are enjoyed by guests from all over the world who get the chance to experience life as a blacksmith. From solo, couple or group activities, we have it all covered with a huge range of experience day packages for you to choose from.
